A PERSONAL INTRODUCTION

Klaus Kuehl and Rachel Cory-Kuehl are just two people who love to study and share the Bible. Rachel is a nurse anesthetist (CRNA) and Klaus is a physician assistant (PA). We’ve been married for twenty eight years.

On the Sabbath, we meet for study and worship with a small home church near Tyler, Texas.

We hold many beliefs in common with The Church of God Seventh Day, The Church of God International, and the Church of God at Tyler (an off shoot of the COGI) - most especially the 7th day Sabbath, and unconscious sleep in death - until the resurrection. We do NOT however, believe that Christ died on Wednesday and rose from the dead on Sabbath just at sundown. Also we do NOT believe that those raised in the first resurrection will spend the millennium on the earth. There are detailed studies on these topics at this web site.

We also hold many beliefs in common with The Seventh-day Adventist Church, however this denomination has become Trinitarian. (It was not so for the first 50 years of it’s existence.) We do NOT believe that God is a Trinity. We have some problems with writings published under the name of Ellen White (considered by Seventh-day Adventists to have been a prophet). For instance, we do NOT believe that Christ entered into an “investigative judgment” in heaven, beginning on October 22, 1844, in fulfillment of the ancient Day of Atonement type. We believe that this acted prophecy will be fulfilled at the very end of this age just before Christ returns in glory. A study on this topic can be found on www.prophecyviewpoint.com. We also believe that many of those raised in the “second resurrection” which follows the millennium, will come to Christ and enter the kingdom. Adventism teaches that all of those raised second will be consumed in the “lake of fire.”

Klaus is the computer-internet expert and Rachel writes the studies. We are trying to use our talents to further the Gospel, and ask that you pray for us.

Much love in Christ,

Klaus Kuehl and Rachel Cory-Kuehl
